About Me 

Hello! I am Jacob Alexander Arias Chiriboga.

I live in Brooklyn and I go to school at the High School of Art and Design. My major is Illustration and one day I hope to someday become an illustrator, a fireman or the president. I’m a type of artist that loves to do art digitally especially on my ipad because I have the ibis paint x app. I first realized I had a talent for art when I was in middle school. I went to an art middle school, which was called “MS 936” and at the time my major was art. The kind of art that I like to make would be artwork which is based on pokemon. I used to draw them on paper but now I draw them digitally.

The kind of medium that I prefer would be digital, photography,  and shading pencils using microline pens. I think that art is very important because it is a form of self expression in which I dive into when I feel under stress. I get my best ideas from artists on Deviantart or random characters by artists from around the world. When revising my art I go in and focus on the lines and add more detail and/or definition. I usually focus on one art piece at a time but there are times in which my attention has been divided into multiple pieces as I sometimes receive requests from people or followers requesting me especially on Deviantart since I’m more active there. When a person sees my art works they might not understand the context of my art; this is why I like to put a description on my art so that viewers can read it and not skim through it.
